High torque spindle
CNC turning centers of this class require large cutting forces at low revolution speeds, since workpieces for this class is likely to have large diameters and large machining allowances.
The spindle headstock of this machine has a 4-stage hydraulic pressure shift that generates less heat, and achieves a maximum torque of 5369 ft・lbs, twice as much as that of conventional machines.
This enables full-power cutting at 45 kW (60 HP) even with workpieces with a large diameter of Φ23.62", and can significantly reduce cutting time.
Octagonal boring turret (POWER MASTER Chucker)
This turret design boasts a maximum machining diameter of Φ39.37". This machining diameter of Φ39.37" for the standard indexing tooling is the largest in this class. Turret indexing speed is only 3.2 seconds per step, which can contribute in significantly reducing your machining time.
Octagonal disc turret + 6-tool hexagonal boring turret (POWER MASTER Universal)
The front 8-station disc turret can mount 8 tools of 1.26" × 1.26" × 6.30" and the rear turret can mount 6 tools (Inside / outside diameters and facing tool holders).

High rigidity bed
The wide machine base is a rigid foundation for heavy-duty machining due to the reinforced ribs. The slide way is a equal angle V-shape with high, long-lasting rigidity that is created with heat treatment and precise grinding finish.
Additionally, machined chips are smoothly removed from the machining area by the inclined chutes in the machine bed.
Highly rigidity tailstock
Compatible with POWER MASTER Universal only
The tailstock has a large 5.91" diameter quill with built-in MT No.5 center. The tailstock is clamped to the bed with 12-tons of force and can support workpieces up to 3-tons.

Steady rest (Option)
There are steady rest devices available for Φ0.79" to Φ9.84", Φ5.91" to Φ13.78", Φ9.84" to Φ17.72", and Φ13.78" to Φ21.65", which are effective when machining long shaft shaft of each diameter.
Rear chuck mounting preparation (Option)
Rear chuck mounting preparation allows a chuck to be mounted on the rear of the spindle. This includes covers that are easily opened for access to the rear chuck for mounting or unmounting. For safety, a switch detects if the covers are opened and prevents machine operation.
