"I had no previous laser technology experience. I used to work as a restaurant manager, which provided me with customer service experience. I was able to use this experience in the new role I gained at Mazak."
What is your current role at Mazak?
“My current role at Mazak is Parts Associate Supervisor. I guide and direct a team of parts associates towards achieving operational goals such as accurate order entry, timely response to requests, telephone metrics, achieving quote deadlines and meeting quality standards.”
What is your definition of great customer service?
"My definition of good customer service is being able to guide the customer through their parts ordering process with ease and clarity while providing answers in a consistent and timely manner."
What are your hobbies and interests?
"My hobbies include but are not limited to, going to the gym, reading, painting, and spending time with family/friends. I also enjoy being outdoors and any outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking etc."
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
"Not a piece of advise but a mantra I like to live by is: grass is greener where you water it. To me, this means we should live by looking at the brighter side of things and be grateful for what you already have instead of comparing yourself or your life with others. They say comparison is the thief of joy."
