BT50 taper spindle for highly efficient machining

8000 min-1 Spindle (Standard)*

A spindle with an output of 40 kW (40% ED) , maximum revolution of 8000 min -1, and max. torque of 344 N-m, ideal for machining of steel workpieces.

12000 min-1 High-speed spindle (Standard) *

A spindle with an output of 45 kW (40% ED), ideal for processing nonferrous metals such as aluminum.

6000 min-1 High torque spindle (Option)

Spindle with a max. torque of 1218 N-m (15% ED) is optionally available for heavy-duty machining.

High-speed, high-accuracy X-, Y- and Z-axis feed system

High speed

Equipped with a stationary ball screw to enhance maximum feedrate of the X- and Y-axis up to 30 m/min*.

High accuracy

Temperature controlled cooling oil circulates through the ball screw cores to ensure stable machining accuracy over extended periods of high speed operation.

Volumetric compensation (Option)

By compensating 3-dimensional measurement position errors in the entire machining envelope, spatial accuracy has greatly improved compared to conventional pitch compensation.
To compensate positional and angular errors caused by axial traveling, MAZATROL SmoothX supports input of spatial error compensation data measured by ETALON measuring instrument (laser tracer).

Capable of processing complex, curved surfaces

Simultaneous 5-axis machining specification (Option)

VERSATECH has a B- and C-axis that can eliminate the need of a head changer, resulting in significant reduction of non-cutting time.
The simultaneous 5-axis machining specification is optionally available for the machining of complex surfaces such as those found in components for the die and mold and aerospace industries.

Automated pallet transfer system

PALLETECH is a system that can automatically transfer pallets loaded with jigs and workpieces to support long-hour operations. It is especially effective for large workpieces for various industries or in situations when there is a sudden change in production volume.
