Integral spindle / motor to achieve high productiveness and high precision

All series are equipped with integral spindle / motors, which allows various operations such as heavy-duty machining of ferrous metals, or high-speed machining of non-ferrous metals such as aluminium. Gears and belts, which are causes of vibrations, are not used to ensure high-accuracy.

The main spindle can also operate C-axis indexing in 0.0001°minimum increments and contouring.

12 position drum turret with milling function

The drum turret is designed for minimum interference. By using non-lift rotary indexing, high-speed turret clamping / unclamping can be performed without interference. Tool holders are rigidly mounted on the turret by four bolts. A 24 position turret is also optionally available.

Second Spindle

By orienting both spindles, high-accuracy workpiece transfer from the main spindle to the second spindle can be performed for continuous machining. 100 Series: 5”, 200 / 300 Series: 6”

Y-axis for machining complex shapes

High-productivity even in limited spaces

Machines with the same universal require the same floor space

For machines with the universal of 500U, all machines from the 100 series to the 300 series can be installed with the same floor space: 4.39m².
For machines with the universal of 1000U, series 200M, 200MY, 300M, 300MY can be installed with the same floor space: 5.96m².

Equipped with MAZATROL SmoothC

Programs can be easily made by simple key controls. With MAZATROL programming, even unexperienced operators can swiftly create programs. There is a home screen for each process. Progress and availability for production, programming, tool data management, setup, and maintenance can be managed centrally.

Various options for advanced automation

Automatic front door

It supports 3-step open/close speeds and has a built-in safety device to stop operation by a touch pressure sensor. Automatic opening/closing with area sensors are also available.

Tool eye

Tool setup is done by simply bringing the tool tip into contact with the tool eye, which will automatically register the tool to the CNC system, so tool setup time is considerably reduced.

Automatic parts catcher

This function will automatically carry out finished workpieces into a parts box outside the machine. It can be combined with bar feeders or workpiece discharging conveyors to achieve an automated system.

Automatic workpiece measurement

This function uses a turret-mounted touch sensor to automatically measure the inside and outside diameters, surface irregularity etc. of the machined workpiece to perform tool corrections and to maintain machining accuracy during unattended operation.
