Minokamo Plant 2

Minokamo Plant 2, which was completed in 2006, is to be integrated with Minokamo Plant 1 utilising the latest IT/IoT technology. By utilising advanced Big Data, IoT and AI technologies, this plant will achieve high-efficiency automated machining.

The facility interior features the environment required for precision production with a high-efficiency heating/air-conditioning system for temperature control and high illumination levels. Production and work efficiency is enhanced by automated machining equipment integrated with robots in the FMS machining area and the large capacity component stocker.

The Cyber Spindle Factory, a central spindle production facility for all the Mazak factories in Japan and the World Parts Centre, which provides spare parts to customers all over the world 24 hours a day 365 days a year, are also located here.
