Column and bed structure
The mounting position of the X-axis guide has two different levels. By bringing the rear guide close to the center of column, the column's weight can be reduced, and the guide face is closer to the center of gravity of column. This enables high-speed and high-positioning accuracy.
High-speed, high-accuracy positioning
By utilizing linear roller guides on all axes, not only is non-cutting time reduced - high accuracy machining is ensured even at high-speed feedrates. Furthermore, to prevent the effects of heat generated during axial travel, the machine is driven by a ball screw that is preloaded and fixed at both ends, with cooling oil circulating in the core cooling system. This ensures reliable positioning accuracy even when drilling a large number of pieces, for example, where frequent axial traveling axis occurs.
Automation systems for long unmanned operation
Pallet Changer
The 2-pallet changer is standard equipment for higher efficiency. The operator can setup the next workpiece during the machining of the current workpiece. A 6-pallet changer is optionally available for long unmanned operation by continuous machining of multiple pallets.
PALLETECH SYSTEM
The PALLETECH MANUFACTURING CELL is designed for convenient system expansion after the initial system installation from a minimum of 1 machining center, 1 loading station, and pallet stocker with 6 pallets. The system is modular structure, allowing for system expansion according to production conditions after installation. The pallet stocker modules are available in single level and two levels.
Tool magazine
A variety of tool magazine capacity up to 348 tools is available. Setups can be done easily, such as registering spare tools for high-mix low-volume production or for long periods of unmanned operation. Furthermore, the magazine, which can hold from 180 to 348 tools, is a rack type and space-saving.
High-speed Auto Tool Changer
The simple and reliable cam-driven tool changer enables high-speed tool change and stable operation over a long period of time, which contributes to shorter non-cutting time.
